Andrew Evelyn is an Information Technology Manager at the Consumer Affairs Commission (CAC), an agency of The Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Commerce in Jamaica, with over 15 years of experience in providing IT expertise to organizations in Government, Financial Services, Insurance, Credit Union, Airlines among other industries. He has extensive experience in IT Project Management, Software Engineering, Network Design, and Business Process Mapping. His experience also includes the implementation of Banking Systems, Internet Banking, Customer Relationship Management Systems, among other critical systems. In addition, he has developed a number of software based solutions including a Health Insurance Portal, Customer Communications system for SMS and Email messaging, Survey Management System and Business intelligence solutions. Andrew currently spearheads the CAC’s Open Data initiative which includes the Open Data Application Developer partnership program.
