With over 18 years of experience in communications, 15 of them working in the digital communications field, Martha is driven by curiosity and possibilities. Martha has always held a deep interest in how communications and communities can be better used by the government to inform, serve, and engage citizens at home and abroad. Martha has been a long time champion of digital diplomacy.  She currently manages and guides the digital communication and engagement work for Canada's network of Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates with a strong focus on the integration of digital into traditional activities and building digital ecosystems to engage communities of interest. From digital campaign development and execution to instilling a “digital first” mindset and approach to traditional advocacy activities Martha strives to connect leading practices to the work Canada’s offices abroad. Martha is an accomplished speaker, trainer, status quo crusher, digital diplomacy champion and advocate for government transformation.
