Audrey Ariss is the Director of Research and Design at the Center for Open Data Enterprise in Washington, D.C. She is the project lead for the Open Data Impact Map, the first global mapping of organizations using open data. In addition, she co-leads the US federal Open Data Roundtables in partnership with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to convene data providers with data users.

Prior to her work at the Center, Audrey spent five years focusing on the use of information and technology for economic development. Audrey was a Google Policy Fellow, researching information policies. She was also a lead researcher for the GovLab at NYU’s Open Data 500 study of the business applications of government data. More recently in 2016, Audrey was one of the lead authors of the World Bank’s Open Data for Business Tool, the first assessment methodology for the business use of government data.
